The results of the urban-architectural ideas contest for the Mauá Dam area were announced. The president of SAU, Arch. Fernando Pereira, was present at the ceremony along with Arch. Andrés Ridao, consultant for the competition. The jury was made up of Felipe Correa and Jorge Moscato, for MIEM, Lucio de Souza, for FADU, Patricia Roland, for the Municipality of Montevideo, and Diego Capandeguy, for the participants. The advisory team for the contest was made up of Andrés Ridao, Carolina Tobler and Martín Delgado. This contest had the objective of generating project options for the transformation of a strategic area of the city of Montevideo.
