The venture is located at the entry point to the Montevideo Metropolitan area from the western sector of the country. It is traversed by
one of the corridors that articulate the growth of the urban sprawl, but it presents certain distinctive characteristics from the rest of the expansion areas.
On a local scale, the project implementation area is located in the cut of Ciudad del Plata and its area of influence. It is characterized by presenting an important heterogeneity of land uses and disparate situations of occupation and intermingled activities, product of a territorial development that is a direct consequence of its proximity to Montevideo.
