The new central is a practical space designed to respond to the needs of firefighters, it becomes an icon of the city, a memory of the tragedy experienced but also of how the city knew how to rise from its ashes, a building that not only not only the population of San Francisco but the entire world associates with the image of the fire department.<\/p>\n
From a social point of view, the site is fully integrated into the city’s skyline, on the southern end of the promenade and with a predominant presence when accessing the city through the San Francisco Bay bridge, the main access road for road traffic to the city.
