The house is located in the area of La Pedrera, Rocha, Uruguay. Integrated into a maritime forest landscape with the presence of pines and species typical of the national native forest. This double condition, of beach and forest, models the functional identity of the project, which will seek to enhance the intensity of use during the summer season, while admitting recurring stays during the rest of the year in colder seasons.
La disposición del programa está condicionada por la variabilidad del núcleo familiar, siendo una necesidad intrínseca del mismo permitir la convivencia de varias generaciones en contacto e independencia durante períodos de tiempo prolongado. Por este motivo la casa se organiza en dos volúmenes principales que adquieren mayor altura, y un espacio sin destino específico, que funciona como conector de tránsito, flexible y adaptable a las futuras oportunidades de apropiación.
