The project is located on a 1,000 m2 plot of land on the coastal area of the Laguna del Diario where there is a pronounced topographic difference with respect to the street limits. The landscape on the main façade is dominated by the horizon of the water mirror of the Lagoon and its edges of different consolidation with a large presence of wetland and characteristic grasslands. This condition collaborates in the definition of the positioning of the project, which is proposed at the highest point to avoid the effects that may occur as a result of overflows of the Lagoon on the street and public space during rainy periods.

All the main rooms are located on the main façade, while the services are arranged perpendicularly, closing the south party wall. In this way, four exterior courtyard spaces are delimited characterized in different ways: the front retreat composes a welcoming slope, which gives distance and perspective to the house and the courtyard.
